Greenstar Windows & Doors pty ltd is a wholly Australian owned and Australian based business. As the name suggests, we specialise in Greenstar rated applications of aluminium windows & doors. Projects with high Rw and energy efficiency requirements are our specialty. Double or single glazed, Laminated or Toughened glass – we will find the best application to suit your budget and specification requirements.
What We Do?
Our product is specially designed to maximise the use of double glazing to achieve the greatest comfort and energy efficiency for the interior environment.
Through maximising insulation properties of our view to the outside world, our products assist in the reduction of noise (RW), Heat (SHGC & U value), harmful ultra violet rays.
U-value indicates the rate of heat flow due to conduction, convection, and radiation through a window as a result of a temperature difference between the inside and outside. The higher the U-factor the more heat is transferred (lost) through the window in winter.
A window with a U-factor of 0.6 will lose twice as much heat under the same conditions as one with a U-factor of 0.3.
SHGC indicates how much of the sun’s energy striking the window is transmitted through the window as heat. As the SHGC increases, the solar gain potential through a given window increases. A window with a SHGC of 0.6 will admit twice as much solar heat gain as one with a SHGC of 0.3.
We can accommodate the thickest glazing applications in the market for 100mm commercial aluminum profile amongst our range.
We use only international reputable brands including Dulux & interpon for powdercoating, Schliegel for rubber seals and hardware is provided from Doric, Brio and other leading international brands
